Women’s Soccer Place 6 on all Region Team

After a successful season which saw the Bulldogs earn a spot in the District Championships, some individual accolades have been showered on the team.

NJCAA Region 17 have posted their all region team and six Bulldogs have been selected. Heading the list is Region 17 Player of the Year Annah Norman. Annah is a lock down defender and has been a force controlling the middle of the field and the back line.

Annah is joined by Gizelle Evan and Cassandra Ruff on the first team. Gizelle ran the show for the Bulldogs as the center midfielder. Her skill with the ball and ability to chase down attacks helped her dominate the middle. Cassandra Ruff is a relentless fighter who never gives up on the play. She often was matched up with the opponent's top talent and did a great job closing the door on them.

Emma Snider, Ani Springer, Camilla Peganos and were selected for the second team.  Emma Snider leads the league in goals and points, and is just a flat out force on offense, especially when teamed up with Camila Peganos whose speed and accurate shot kept opposing defenses at bay.  Ani Springer could do it all.  She scored goals, stopped opponent's attacks and won 50/50 balls.

The Bulldogs still have games left and travel to Gordon State College to play in the NJCAA District Championship tournament on November 8-9.
