The Bulldogs (10-10) outlasted East Georgia State College on Thursday in Game One after five lead changes, squeaking out a 4-3 win at Milledgeville, Ga.
The top of the first saw East Georgia State College take an early lead, 1-0. Wynn kicked things off for East Georgia State College with a single.
After a quick strike from East Georgia State College, the Bulldogs responded with two runs in the first. The Bulldogs scored on an RBI single by Kiley Rediger and an error to secure the win for the Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs finally managed to grab the lead after a strong third inning. The Bulldogs went up for good on a two-run single by Caitlin Collins off Arrington, plating Kiley Rediger and Sara Alderman. In Game Two for 2 2/3 innings, Madason Messer and Hand engaged in a tight pitchers' duel. In the end, Madason Messer and the Bulldogs hung on for the victory. The the Bulldogs mustered nine hits and, thanks to Madason Messer's stellar pitching, defeated East Georgia State College 9-8 in eight innings at Milledgeville, Ga on Thursday.

Madason Messer was a workhorse on the rubber for the Bulldogs. Madason Messer allowed two earned runs, nine hits and one walk while striking out four over eight innings of work.
Hand worked out of 21 tough spots for East Georgia State College. She pitched 7 1/3 innings and allowed five earned runs on nine hits. Hand faced her toughest situation in the eighth inning.
Kiley Rediger racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Bulldogs with the double in the eighth inning for the win.
