The Georgia Military College Bulldogs softball team concluded a demanding week of competition, finishing 2–6 across eight games. Despite the challenging stretch, several standout individual performances highlighted the team's resilience and competitive edge.

Freshman slugger Jayna Kearson continues to emerge as one of the nation's most dangerous hitters. Her five home runs place her inside the national Top 20, underscoring both her power and consistency at the plate. Kearson leads the Bulldogs with 25 RBI and nine stolen bases, providing a major spark for the GMC offense early in the season.

Sophomore Olivia Bridger is showing the same form that earned her All-Region honors in 2025. She ranks second on the team with 24 hits, and her steady, high‑level play at shortstop remains the anchor of the Bulldogs' defense.

GMC now returns home for a February 24 doubleheader against Chattahoochee Valley Community College. The Bulldogs have enjoyed recent success in the series, holding a 5–1 record over the last six matchups. First pitch is scheduled for 3:00 PM on Couch Field.

Following Tuesday's action, the Bulldogs shift their attention to Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association play, opening their conference schedule on the road against Georgia Highlands College. That matchup is set for Saturday at 1:00 PM, marking the beginning of a pivotal league campaign where every result will help shape GMC's postseason path.
