Georgia Military College turned in a complete day of softball Monday, sweeping a doubleheader against Andrew College with dominant performances in both games. The Bulldogs opened with an explosive 18–5 victory before closing the series with a poised 8–1 win.
In the opener, Georgia Military College took control early behind a standout performance from freshman Kaiden Bradford. Bradford finished with three hits and four runs batted in, highlighted by a three‑run home run in the second inning. She added a two‑run single in the third as the Bulldogs' offense surged.
After scoring two runs in the first inning and briefly seeing the game tied at 2–2, the Bulldogs pulled away for good. Georgia Military College erupted for eight runs in the third inning, using extra‑base hits and capitalizing on miscues. Ana Land blasted a two‑run home run, while Jayna Kearson and Sophia Boutelle added run‑scoring doubles. Five more runs crossed in the fifth to cap a 17‑hit effort. Kylie Keck, Olivia Bridger, and Bradford each recorded three hits.
In the circle, Claire Clements provided a steady outing for the Bulldogs, working five innings and allowing five runs while striking out five.
Georgia Military College carried that momentum into game two, scoring four runs on three hits in the first inning. Clements delivered a two‑run double to set the tone, and the Bulldogs continued to add on. Ella Ashley drove in a run with a double in the third, and Kearson followed with a two‑run home run in the fourth.
That was more than enough support for Jada Vickers, who delivered a complete‑game performance, allowing just one unearned run on three hits over seven innings.
Kearson and Clements each drove in three runs in the nightcap, while Boutelle added two hits. Georgia Military College also stayed aggressive on the bases, stealing four bases in the finale.
By day's end, Georgia Military College paired explosive offense with strong pitching to secure a convincing sweep over Andrew College and continue building momentum as the season progresses.
