Ches Cullens is entering his third season with the Bulldogs as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. He brings extensive experience at both the collegiate and high school levels in strength, conditioning, and athletic performance development. 

Prior to joining Georgia Military College, Cullens spent five years as the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator at Thomas Jefferson Academy. Before his time at TJA, he served two years as the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator at Jeff Davis High School. 

Cullens also gained valuable collegiate experience at the University of West Georgia, where he worked for two years as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. Prior to his role at UWG, he completed a one-year internship with Olympic Sports Strength and Conditioning at the University of Georgia. He began his coaching journey as an intern with Valdosta State University’s Speed, Strength, and Conditioning Program. 

Cullens earned a master’s degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Strength, Conditioning, and Fitness from the University of Georgia. He also holds a bachelor's degree in health and physical education from Valdosta State University. 

He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and is also certified as a Level 1 Sports Performance Coach by USA Weightlifting. 

Cullens and his wife, Katie, have two sons, Beau and Luke.
